The Jonkershuis is situated in the historic core of the Groot Constantia Wine Estate, overlooking the Constantia Valley Vineyards and with Panoramic views across False Bay. Being situated in one of Cape Town's 'Big 6' destinations allows Jonkershuis to offer groups and individuals more than just a memorable dining experience. Relaxed and inviting, dine alfresco overlooking False Bay and Groot Constantia Manor House underneath the oak trees or in the Jonkershuis courtyard under the grape vines. Inside dining is elegant and informal with the double-sided fireplace adding warmth and grandeur during those chilly winter months. Situated next to the main restaurant is a room with two large wood burning fireplaces at each end, a wooden ceiling and stable doors leading to the historic core and wagon courtyard, a perfect spot for groups wishing a more private area or a wine tasting to accompany dinner. Bistro-style dining with a Cape Malay influence characterises the stylish and varied menu. The emphasis is on flavour, using the best local ingredients and fresh produce from boutique suppliers wherever possible.
