The interior is stylish and elegant, but still has an element of fun to it. The cocktails served are delicious and diners are spoilt for choice. The menu is small but well thought out and includes dishes like chicken roulade, chicken stuffed with sundried tomatoes, cashew nuts and feta served with cous cous and honey-glazed veggies. Also a must-try is the sirloin steak and the bacon wrapped pork fillet served with honey and mustard mash, honey glazed veggies and apricot compote. Light meals like pastas, burgers, wraps and fish and chips can also be enjoyed by those who just want to nibble while watching the sun set over the ocean with a cocktail in hand.

This wonderful, relatively new restaurant is situated a stone's throw from the beach in Strand and is the ideal hangout for long, lazy lunches and beautiful dinners. The menu is refreshing and creative with dishes like gourmet baguettes, original, gourmet pizzas and the favourite sharing food - sushi. Try the bitterballen as a starter, five traditional round Dutch croquettes served with mustard, or a lovely picnic basket for two filled with a French baguette, garlic gamba’s, Italian cold meat cuts, brie and gorgonzola, fig preserve, fruit, marinated olives, salad, Amsterdammertjes, sparkling wine or Ega Rooibos tea. This should be ordered two hours in advance. The pizzas are truly unique and the breakfast pizza with free range eggs and bacon topped with Parmigiano Reggiano is a must-try. A wide variety of coffees, teas, wines, dessert wines and sparkling wines are available. As Carolina says: 'Buon appetito, Lekker eet, Enjoy, Bon appétit, Eet smakelijk, Selamat makan, Born up a tree!'

The family owned eatery is open throughout the day. Early birds can enjoy breakfast while holiday makers who have lost their sense of time can be seated for brunch, a lingering lunch or dinner. Menu features are: Fillet Medallions with a Black Pepper Brandy Cream Sauce or the Speciality Burger, which is a beef patty, topped with proscuito ham, brie and fig chutney served on a ciabatta. For the seafood lovers there is fresh Black Mussels steamed in white wine and fresh herbs tossed with lemon and herb crème fraiche served with a home baked garlic loaf. Fusion is a fully licensed restaurant with an assortment of local wines as well as local and imported beers. The restaurant is wheelchair friendly and has an enclosed smoking section.

The main menu serves up dishes like Fillet Rossini, the best fillet of beef cut marinated in rosemary and topped with sauteed chicken livers, mushrooms and drenched in a masala red wine sauce. Here you can also try the Steak Tartare at its Best, once again good quality beef, hand chopped to a fine mince garnished with vegetables and salad condiments. The menu is extensive and diners will be spoilt for choice. The restaurant is open seven days a week for dinner and can be used as a function venue on request.
