The café offers its guests a tranquil setting for recharging one’s batteries with a light meal after a bout of sight seeing or shopping. The restaurant is sunny and has a lovely look out onto the nursery. It is a cosy spot for a small celebration like a baby shower or kitchen tea. The menu offers all the coffee shop favourites ranging from health breakfasts, light meals like quiche and other tea time treats like muffins, scones and cakes. The restaurant also sells homemade preserves, biscotti or shortbread. Other items for sale include pastries and olives.

The de Beers cold Storage building was designed in 1901 by Francis Edward Massey and build for Cecil John Rhodes in 1902. With its sandstone facade bay windows and rustic looks, the building lends itself to the setting for a romantic upstairs restaurant with views over the yacht harbour and naval dockyard. One of our customers called Captain’s Table the best kept secret in Simon's Town. Well it may have been but it is no longer a secret. Yes we have finally opened Captain's Table upstairs above the Two and Sixpence Tavern. The experience was described as follows: "Enter the pub and ask the bar person to direct you to the Restaurant. Through the swing doors, up the stairs and then enter a completely different world" Captain’s Table is old world in style, where everything was designed to enhance your experience as our guests. The atmosphere upstairs is relaxed with dimmed lighting, candles on the tables and soothing background music. The venue is ideally suited for smaller functions and parties. The restaurant can be divided to allow privacy for smaller groups and can accommodate up to 48 people. The restaurant is open for lunch 12h30 - 14h30 on Fridays to Sundays and for dinner 18h30 – 21h30 Fridays to Wednesdays. The restaurant will be closed on Thursdays except for functions.

Recently restored to its former glory, The Casa Labia is not only a Venetian inspired national monument, but also the location of the Casa Labia Café, a new addition to the False Bay coastline. Located on the Main Road, teetering on the St. James and Muizenberg border, views from the Casa Labia extend over moody blue waters from the dappled sunlight of a beautiful courtyard. Inspiration for the café menu is drawn from the Labia family’s Italian heritage and their passion for South Africa. Italian classics are made unique to the environment by using local ingredients with emphasis placed on sourcing fresh food for the daily menu, which changes according to the seasons.

Coffee on the Rocks perches on the edge of the ocean overlooking Walker Bay, home to the visiting Southern Right Whales from July until December. Open for teas and lunch, this vibrant restaurant produces delicious meals and decadent cakes. Service is friendly and efficient, the food is excellent and the view of the whales is the best for miles around. Mere meters from the sea shore of Grotto beach in Hermanus is Dutchies, a delightful Dutch eatery. Guests are easily charmed by the select, Dutch inspired menu and the cosy atmosphere that the restaurant presents.
