    Kaapsehoop

    Kaapsehoop

    Town of Mpumalanga

The little village people don't know of

Population >200. Kaapsche Hoop is the place Pilgrims Rest's charm and quaintness moved to when Pilgrims turned into a decrepit, dying tourist destination. A bit like Cullinan outside of Pretoria this small former mining town has old world charm and a warm welcoming sense to it. Take the Waterfall Boven route to Nelspruit on the N4 instead of Schoemanskloof and keep an eye out for Ngodwana turnoff to the right at the paper mill. Wakkerstroom

    Wakkerstroom

    Town of Grass and Wetlands

    What a gem Wakkerstroom is!

From cosy guesthouse, excellent food and service at the Bistro, some birding and a variety of cheeses for sale as well as a few little shops to browse in - there is even a public library and a beautiful stone church. This little gem on the border between Mpumalanga and KZN is well worth another visit!

Graskop, specifically the wonders of the Panorama is a definite must see for any person. The R532 is a stretch of road that extends from Sabie pass Graskop that features the most beautiful displays of nature that one can ever see. Graskop is central to all the tourist attractions of the Panorama route and is ideal for anyone seeking to experience the wonders of Mpumalanga. This area is truly "God's Playground" as it features the most beautiful waterfalls, Bourke Potholes (breathtaking), Gods Window, Wonder View (Amazing scenery), the Pinnacle rock, three Rondavels, Blyde Canyon, and Echo Caves... see more
