    Lovely area
We've been to Kaapsehoop many times and always enjoy our stay. We had a super walk to the edge of the escarpment and the view was spectacular over the De Kaap Valley, and across to Barberton and the Mkonjwa mountains (on Swaziland border) as we had a pretty clear day.The geology is fascinating as is the plant and bird life. It's a photographer's dream with the changing weather and wild horses about.Have been to the Battery Creek waterfall in the past, a lovely walk. Take a picnic and stay a while. We'll go again to visit dear friends ;-)

    Magical
Spent the weekend of my 38th birthday in Kaapsehoop and loved every moment! Truly magical... No tar roads, no street lights, no noise. The escarpment walk is a must do! Can't wait to go back there :)
