Hermanus Anya’s Mum is tucked away on a narrow street in Hermanus. If not for the brightly coloured building one might not notice it, but once inside you are enveloped by the homely coffee shop style and aroma of freshly baked and prepared foods.
This mother and daughter team have been running for a few years and just seem to add that family feel to their establishment. One of the things they agree on is that they are serious about coffee.
Pop in for a home-made breakfast – hot, hot, hot and extremely fresh – and your daily dose of caffeine. Cut into a fresh quiche for lunch! The menu changes daily and is filled with the spontaneous creations of this duo. They offer occasional dinners and specials are regularly offered, such as pizza night or set menu dishes.
The back garden is a great place to hide from the outside world on a hot day. Truly a lovely setting and atmosphere!
Trading hours are from 9 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday and from 9 am to 2 pm on Saturdays. The establishment only accepts cash payments.
