Thali-Thali is a 1460-hectare Cape West Coast game and fynbos reserve situated just off the R27 near Langebaan, less than one hour drive from Cape Town and bordering the West Coast National Park. The Cape West Coast is intoxicating. Sure the wind heaves and thumps for much of the year, but the Langebaan area, with its beautiful lagoons, has a charm that keeps people coming back year after year. Privately owned Thali-Thali Lodge can accommodate up to 20 people and offers an ideal laid-back West Coast-style atmosphere. We boast a wide range of game including kudu, oryx, giraffe, Red hartebeest, eland, zebra, springbok, Black wildebeest, duiker, bontebok, and steenbok. The reserve is also home to many different bird species, and guests are welcome to enjoy a walk in the fynbos to view these creatures. Accommodation at Thali-Thali have been designed to create a unit with the old homestead. The eight units comprise three West Coast-style chalets and five luxury tents which are spread out in a circle around an entertainment area. We are proud of the tame nature of the wild animals and strive enthusiastically to maintain this state of affairs in order that game may be viewed and photographed in their natural habitat at close range. The landscape consists mainly of vast open plains spread with numerous hillocks, hills and plateaus with magnificent stone outcrops. Guest accommodation comprises double bedroom suites, each with a private bathroom with a bath or a shower. A guest suite with an adjoining room are situated adjacent to the Manor House, making it an ideal family room. Between the Manor House and the Cottage, is a separate suite, adjacent to the swimming pool and the pool bar and games room. Quaggasfontein is currently home to two of the Big 5 game types that exist wild in Africa, namely the White rhino and the buffalo. Other species to be found include springbok, Red hartebeest, Blue wildebeest, Black wildebeest, eland, letchwe, Mountain zebra and impala. There are also sable, warthog, Mountain reedbuck, Common reedbuck, aardwolf, aardvark, caracal, and ostrich. On-site activities include daily game drives, game walks, tennis, swimming, darts, table tennis, pool table, croquet, visits to the von Plettenberg beacon site, star-gazing, and visits to the Bushman rock etchings.

The Kalahari Desert is a vast sandveld region which extends over central and western Botswana into eastern Namibia and the Northern Cape. Although generally described as a desert, the typical Kalahari landscape is surprisingly well-vegetated. You can relax in comfort while taking in a unique and unspoilt landscape- certainly the best of both worlds. The garden is shaded by worm-barkfalse-thorn trees (Albizia Anthelmintica) and overlooks a floodlit waterhole where game and birds flock during the day. Natural building materials were used. The colours and patterns have an African feel and traditional Namibian cosiness. You are looked after by a husband and wife team assisted by well trained, friendly staff conversant in various European and African languages. The three-levelled thatched complex and 2 Chalets can accommodate up to sixteen people (plus 2 guides) sharing. There are eight bedrooms, two which are equipped with double beds, and all have en-suite bathrooms. The partly covered lapa can be referred to as the 'heart' of the guest house with open fireplace, a kitchen and bar facilities. Kalahari Bush Breaks allows you to choose a wide range of adventures. We are convinced that you will fall in love with the deafening tranquillity and that your impressions will be unforgettable! Dense evergreen forests of towering fig trees stand in a lush undergrowth of ferns and wild orchids hanging from the trees. Palm savannahs with thousands of wild date and lala palms dot the white sand of the undulating landscape. Swamp forests with large raffias and tangled masses of greenery that are home to myriads of exquisite birds and behind them mountainous sand dunes that appear to shift with the sighing of gentle winds. Ndumu River Lodge is located in a diverse ecosystem that traverses from the Lebombo Mountains neighboring Swaziland to the Laquit Sand Forests of the Mozambique boundary. Breakfast as well as dinner is available, but need to be booked before arrival. We are located 1,630 m above sea level and have 360-degree views over the vast savannah and Waterberg Plateau. Watch a spectacular sunset or sunrise and during the heat of the day, relax by the sparkling pool. A great favourite at Aloegrove Safari Lodge, is the scheduled lion, leopard and cheetah feeding. This is the ideal opportunity to see these magnificent cats at close range; keep those cameras ready. Guests can also join the lodge's ranger on a 4x4 game drive during the morning or afternoon. The thatched Rondavels combined can sleep seven guests and consists three en-suite bedrooms. The rooms are furnished with single beds and the en-suite bathrooms that have a shower. Bedding, towels, soap and toilet paper is provided and heaters are also available. The unit also has a braai area and is equipped for self-catering. The kitchenette is equipped with a microwave, a toaster, tea and coffee facilities, a bar fridge as well as all cutlery and crockery. Please note the units do not have a stove or an electric hot plate but do have outside braai and gas skottel braais. There is also no cleaning service for self-catering. Cellphone reception is available and Wi-Fi, sold per Gig, as well as a laundry and ironing service is available at an additional cost. For the more adventurous, there is also camping in the veld and guests need to bring all their own essentials. Provided at the camp is a bucket shower, a boiling pot to heat water, a bucket to transfer water to the shower, a braai rooster, a table and chairs, a spade, a rubbish drum and borehole drinking water from the windmill pump. Firewood is also available at an additional cost. In addition to the peace and quiet of the vast Karoo scenery, there are opportunities for hiking, birding and game viewing thanks to the vast numbers and great diversity of species as well as the rare species found only at Karoo Pred-A-Tours. Karoo Pred-A-Tours is also home to a program designed to protect and provide public awareness for the Caracal, the African Wild Cat, the Small Spotted Cat and the unusual looking Serval

Mvubu River Lodge is situated within the Pongola Game Reserve, in Northern Zululand. The lodge is set on a hillside overlooking the Pongola River as it lazily meanders towards the Pongolapoort Dam. We cater for the discerning nature lover. The Mvubu accommodation consists of twin and double thatched chalets, all with air-conditioning and verandas. The chalets have views of the river with basking crocodiles, hippo and water birds. Cool off on those hot Zululand days in the lodge’s private swimming pool and enjoy a drink at the Hippo Hole, our fully licensed bar. Our rates include dinner, bed and breakfast or brunch, teas and coffees. Cuisine is typically South African with a variety of venison dishes prepared and presented in the boma or the open-plan dining area overlooking the river.
