About Hannah Game Lodge

Come and relax, unwind and connect again to your spiritual self in a place of peace in the heart of the Southern African bushveld.

Hannah Lodge, lies among the gently rolling hills of the Northern Drakensberg Escarpment. This beautiful private game reserve embraces more than 8000-hectares of malaria-free unspoiled African bushveld. Take a guided walk in the early morning light to connect with the earth, the animals and nature in general. If walking is not in your itinerary, a morning or an afternoon game drive is another way to see the fauna and flora of this reserve, and while on the game drive, ask to visit our Sable Breeding project.

We are also perfectly situated on the doorstep on the Panorama Route. So as a first stop, or a last, en-route to or from the Kruger National Park, take time to enjoy this area, with its many waterfalls, historical towns, scenic viewpoints and quaint little towns to explore and enjoy. Other nearby attractions are plentiful, with the magical Echo caves a few kilometres from us, many animal rehabilitation centres to visit, fishing, golfing, or a lazy cruise on the Blydepoort dam.

Hannah Game Lodge is a captivating tapestry of African sounds, smells and colours, where the sun showers the valley with shades of pink, red and oranges. What better way to enjoy these colours, smells and sounds than with a drink in your hand at the end of the day, overlooking the African bush from the balcony.

At night after a truly South African dinner experience, in the boma, weather permitting, retire to your choice of one of our four luxury, four semi luxury or 56 comfortable standard chalets, of which 14 are interleading, translating to 14 family suites, where only the silence of nature lulls you to sleep. At Hannah Game Lodge you can relax, unwind and reconnect.

Wedding Venues: Traditional ceremonies are conducted in the conference hall. A stone chapel for an outside wedding is available and for the more adventurous an open air setting in the middle of the bush is recommended.

Conference Venues: The conference facility at Hannah Lodge caters for all your office needs, offering computers, printers, copiers, scanners, faxes, telephones, email and internet facilities.

We enjoyed our stay very much, the place is spotlessly clean, the staff just fantastic and the food was excellent, we cannot fault Hannah Game Lodge. Everything about it was 10 out of 10.

Our stay here was very relaxing. Our accommodation was lovely with a view that was gorgeous. The staff are friendly and give you that space to feel relaxed. Listening to the animal and bird sounds at night was an experience. The three-course meals were generous portions and delicious. The buffet and breakfasts were both very nice too. Go on a stroll around the grounds and take it all in because it is a special place to be. The owner even came round to greet everyone one evening which was a nice touch.

the first suite was not ok: too small, no view. But the one they offered afterwards was excellent: 3 rooms ans very quiet! It's a big place where touringcars make their overnights, but it's well managed and their is more than enough personal attention. The staff is very friendly.

Yes, we (my family and I) did enjoy our stay at Hannah. Staff members were very welcoming and friendly, more especially Tiaan, Musa, Godfrey and all the tour guides there. The ladies who were serving food were also good. The facilities were of high standard and the place itself was really relaxing. It worth every cent I have paid. 100% value for money.I am just hoping they will introduce elephants, lions and other games to make the big five complete. I don’t mind paying more for that.Kenneth and family
