Description
Angels Rest Guest Farm offers a rustic breakaway in a farmhouse with candles, paraffin lamps or limited electricity available on request. Hot water is supplied by a donkey boiler, which is a drum of water that is heated by fire. There are ablutions in the farm house, or guests can bring their caravan for the night.
A farm breakfast is made on a wood burning stove, with fresh bread baked daily. Breakfast is included in the room rates. Barbecue facilities are also available. Lunch and dinner is offered from a set menu if required and we will stock barbecue packs on request.
Relax in the garden, make a fire for a barbecue or hike up the overlooking farm. Fishing is a favourite past time and guests can enjoy living the simple farm life for a while. During winter, a fire will be going in the sun room where a bar is also available. Karaoke can be arranged for those who want to practice their singing. Aliwal North is only 17 km away where you will be able to do your shopping, banking or eating out.
