Wow! I travel quite a bit and have to say the 7 days spent at Jeanrico Farm was brilliant. The scenery is absolutely amazing; so peaceful and quiet and the views are breath-taking. You have to go up the mountain just before sunset and experience the little piece of Heaven here on earth. My hosts went over and above the extra mile and I am so grateful to have met them. To Oom Ernest and Tannie Stella - hats off to the both of you. I am coming back and this will be my home away from home.

We were looking for some accommodation near to the Namaqualand NP and this one is perfect. We stayed two nights so that we could also drive through the Kamiesberg. Rooms are basic but clean and the meals are wonderfully cooked by host Stella.Tea & coffee making facilities are nearby the rooms which are en-suite.

The stone cottage is a quiet rustic accomodation with perfect room and equipmnt for 2 adults. There is a spectacular view at mountains and a small lake. One could prepare meals in the kitchen, but then you would miss Stella's delicious cooking and her husbands most entertaining conversation at dinner and breakfast. The only disapointment was only 2 geckos showing up for a view moments...

My Wife and I wanted the good old PLAAS to stay on. Stella and Ernest were fantastic hosts, with good hearty food that always came with a smile. This added an excellent touch to our first time viewing the flowers.Thank you both for all you did for us on our stay. RegardsIan & Louise

Thank God we only stayed one night here. Despite having booked months in advance we were told 'unconvincingly' on arrival that Safarinow had double booked our room and were shown to a sparse shabby room in the house attached by a sliding door to the noisy main kitchen behind. We were told 'unconvincingly' again that we could be driven into town to look for somewhere else or accept the room as paid in full. After a full day's drive from the Cederberg and being quite exhausted by 6pm and under the impression that the room was half price now we decided to stay as it was only one night. The meal...

Padlopers, birds, butterflies and blomme Just 17km northwest of Kamieskroon is the Skilpad section of Namaqua National Park. Twitchers and butterfly afficionados love it and it's worth spending a few days here - even in ‘bad years’ the sandy plains...

Spitfire Rock is an excellent location to take interesting photographs. Spectacular “spits” and sprays can be seen as the sea blasts against this rock.
