The hosts were fabulous, food delicious and the tents quaint but very comfortable. Hot water bottles were the cherry on the top!

On arriving at Agama and greeted by Victor we knew we're in for a fabulous couple of days! The friendly staff, Kosmos & Livingstone helped make the stay perfect. Linda's kitchen produced stunning home-cooked cuisine, second helpings had at every meal and awesome desserts too... The accommodation in the tented camps was luxurious, excellent linen and a hot water bottle to warm the bed ... and the heater to warm the tent ... we didn't even miss the electricity of the connectivity ... and then at 7:00 the flask of boiling water for coffee ... Dankie Victor & Linda vir die awesome hosts wat julle...

I'm a sucker for a tent, all the better if it comes with a proper bed and bathroom. Look no further! Agama has 7 gorgeous permanent tents, complete with bathroom and verandah, in a beautiful valley about 20km outside of Garies. So many nice touches -- hot water bottles in winter, a pair of scissors to open your packet of Ouma rusks. The owners deliver hot water for coffee to your door in the morning and light your oil lamps for you at night. And the food -- dinner and breakfast are included in the price -- is delicious! Highly recommended.

Victor and Linda couldn't have been kinder or more helpful. The food was wonderful. The weather was chilly but the log fire was most welcoming.
