About Mount Rose Self-Catering Guesthouse

We offer self-catering accommodation for a maximum of 8 guests in the picturesque town of Clarens, Free State, South Africa. Your party does not share with other guests. Mount Rose has four bedrooms, three with queen beds, and one with twin beds, three en-suite bathrooms and a guest toilet with handbasin. The living area is open-plan, consisting of lounge with fireplace, fully equipped kitchen, and dining area. The veranda has magnificent views and a built-in barbecue. The garden is fully fenced and well-behaved pets are welcome. There is a double garage with entrance directly into the house, as well as a burglar alarm. In summer the garden is filled with an abundance of roses, which you are welcome to pick.

We do not cater for babies at all, there are no facilities for bedding, feeding or bathing of babies, nor are there provision for handling of nappies. Should you wish to bring your baby, you need to provide everything yourself.

Legislation prohibits smoking inside guest houses. Please smoke outside and take care to extinguish butts and matches.
Pets are welcome but not specifically catered for, there are some bowls, newspaper, and one pet blanket. Pets stay completely at risk of, and under the responsibility of, the pet-owner. We assume that pet-owners will control and protect their pets and also protect the property against damages caused by pets.
There are no extra beds, or room for extra beds in the house. If you bring more guests than you booked and paid for, you will be evicted.
