Derek and Ann, our hosts, went out of their way to make you feel welcome. Lots of little extras which surprised us every day but most of all their warmth, kindness, knowledge and good humour made us feel very welcome to share their little corner of heaven. We had a hire car for the duration of our stay and some of the highlights were:The Cape and 2 Oceans restaurant The Ostrich farm, Scarborough and the WholeEarth Cafe, Kirstenboush and The Moyo restaurant, Rhodes memorial and the tea room Babylonstoren and The Greenhouse restaurantFranschohek, the Huguenots memorial and The Tuk Tuk restaurant...

We had a very nice stay, the unit was clean and comfortable I only would have liked a hot plate so we could make food and not have to go out for our meals, that is why we requested a self catering. The breakfast was fit for a king.
