Town of Diamond Coast
A whole new world.
I loved the scenery and buildings of the town. It was my first taste of Namibia and I will be back! Barrels restaurant was an amazing experience with friendly, helpful people and wonderful food. A negative was the Bistro restaurant where we waited for quite a while to be seated until a local patron told us to go and sit at a table where we will be served. Nobody attended to us and after 20 minutes we left.

Town of Caprivi Strip
2 nights in Katima
Katima is the eastern most tip of Namibia and was for us only a transit destination to the Vic Falls. Non the less we were positively surprised how clean the city centre and the shops are. You can probably get almost anything there. If you miss your KFC there is a brand new outlet in the main street. I was told river safaris and fishing is a big hit in Katima, maybe I'll try it out next time.
Town of Canyon Land
Good place to stop over between destinations
Good place to stock up on groceries if you are self catering whilst touring Namibia or as a stop over between destinations. Worth seeing is the Quiver Tree Forest - very photogenic and interesting. Whilst there, watch the Cheetahs being fed at 4pm.
Town of Walvis Bay Area
Amazing! I really enjoyed the neatness of the area, and Namibia in general.Chris
Town of Central Region
Quaint little town with loads of public sculptures; a visit to Kristel Kellerei (one of 3 publicly accessible wineries growing wine in Namibia) is a must as well as a visit to Tikaloshe for wood carvings
