Ponta do Ouro review
Pleasant Mozambique town with everything you need but still remote. Pricing is a bit excessive for water and other items but in general a very pleasant town with loads of activities. You will never be board in Ponta

Gateway to Bazaruto islands
Vilanculos lies at the gateway of the Bazaruto Archipelago Mozambique’s only underwater National Park – which comprises five islands – Bazaruto, Benguerra, Margaruque, Bangue and Santa Carolina. Here one can truly connect with nature. The coral reefs attract a rich diversity of tropical fish and other marine creatures, and are regarded as some of the most diverse and least disturbed in the Western Indian Ocean. Several activities can be booked to explore the amazing beauty of this location - a real paradise. You can do snorkeling or scuba diving on the famous reefs of the Bazaruto Islands,...see more

Off the beaten track
Morrungulo is a great destination as it is off the beaten track, Places like Ponto and Inhambane's Barra and Tofo areas are so commercialized now. Morrungulo is Mozambique "old school"The reefs are also a lot more untouched as there is only 1 dive operation in the whole vast area.

True Conservation In Action
I would like to congratulate Gorongosa National Park in Mozambique for its incredible work to restore an incredible African wilderness area. Gorongosa was once Africa's premier wildlife park, but years of war left it hanging by a thread. Thanks to a public and private partnership, a conservation project of epic proportions has been embarked upon and already the rewards are clear to see. Staying at Explore Gorongosa gives you a window on this amazing story and the chance to leave a lasting legacy for the future.
