The house was very comfortable and extremely convenient for access to Stellenbosch. Every request was happily executed.

Description
Maximillian's is a newly built double storey, 4-star house. The house contains three double bedrooms that each open onto their own upstairs Verandah. The ground floor is open plan with a lounge, dining room, full kitchen (Hob, Under counter oven, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher).
It has a covered Verandah in front and at the back, with a built in Barbecue/braai area with private garden. The House is Completely Air conditioned. There is a 32" flat screen TV with surround sound and Cable/satellite. There is also a DVD,CD system. There is also a lock-up garage with automatic Door and entrance into the house directly from the Garage. House is fully serviced on a daily basis at no additional charge.
Maximillian's is situated in a new Estate - and offers the latest in Lifestyle Living. Welgevonden Estate sits on the northern fringe of Stellenbosch, in amongst a number of wine-farms with the Simonsberg mountain range at its backdrop. The estate offers park-like open spaces and calming water features. The Estate is situated on the R44, 3km from Stellenbosch from where you have easy access to all the major attractions in the area.
Apart from all the wine estates of Stellenbosch, Paarl and Franschoek, Welgevonden is a mere 30 minutes from Cape Town and the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront, 30 minutes from Cape Town International Airport and 5 minutes from the nearest Golf Courses and Restaurants.
Beautiful white beaches are 20 minutes away. Maximillian's offers perfect accommodation for Business Executives and Families on Holiday. Special care has been taken in the layout and decor to create an African feel with top quality and comfortable furnishings.
One of the big draw-cards to the region is of course the large amount of fantastic Wine Estates. Guests often give themselves far too little time to do justice to the Stellenbosch Wine Route and we would suggest at least three to five days as a minimum stay in the area!
To really enjoy the area without worrying about drinking-and-driving, why don't you consider a good guide to take you around!? Many of the guides offer the following services and we will be happy to put you in touch with a reputable company:
•Collect at your doorstep •Wine tasting on selected farms •Cellar tours on request •Lunch on a wine farm •Historical Stellenbosch, Franschhoek, Paarl •Beautiful scenery & Cape Dutch architecture •Small groups or private tours
Once one has realized how much there is to do, the temptation (and hopefully submission!) of extending your stay could include a number of other activities: Stellenbosch is surrounded by a number of golf courses, all within a 30 km radius.
In Stellenbosch itself, the choice is between: •Stellenbosch •Devon Vale •Spier/Kleine Zalze
Towards Paarl, one can play any 18 of the 27 holes offered by: •Boschenmeer •Paarl
And in Somerset West & Strand are three options •Somerset West •Erinvale •Strand
Other options to stay active include: •Squash / Tennis •Hiking / Mountain Biking •Game Viewing / Hunting •Horse Riding •Trout Fishing •Photographic Safaris •Helicopter Flips •Hot-air ballooning •Strawberry picking •Picnicking
