Bain’s Barn, dating from 1801, offers centrally located, self-catering accommodation in historic Church Street, Tulbagh. Its Cape Dutch architecture features a thatched roof, and sleeps two guests in one bedroom with an en-suite bathroom.

The Toll House offers tranquil self-catering accommodation in an historic National Monument. Centrally located in Tulbagh’s historic Church Street, the Toll House dates from 1807. Its Cape Dutch architecture features thatched roofs, gables and yellowwood floors.

Self catering cottages tucked away amongst the fynbos and fruit orchards, offer complete privacy and a tranquil environment. Private plunge pools and braai areas, open fireplaces for winter nights, and large verandas for relaxing on all combine to make this a special and memorable escape. Trout fly-fishing available in our Mountain Dam.

The loft accommodation is situated above the Kloofzicht Estate wine cellar, 3 km from the picturesque Tulbagh Village. The accommodation comfortably sleeps nine and is best suited for a family or a group of friends.

If you are looking for an escape from the stresses of life, why not relax in the countryside in your own private house tucked away between the apricot and nectarine orchards. The house is rented out on a self catering basis and sleeps up to 10 in three en-suite bedrooms.

Part of the Cape Dutch Quarters portfolio, Yellowood House is for those who appreciate beautiful things. This delightful Cape Dutch house, built in the 1780s, is in pristine original condition with yellowood floors and ceilings throughout.

Our three cottages provide the perfect setting to relax in. Cottages can accommodate two to four guests and are stylishly furnished.

Restored to its pre-1800 grandeur, with classic gables and old yellow-wood, this charming Cape Dutch house is a National Monument and part of the historic Church Street of Tulbagh. We offer luxury self-catering - breafast is not included but can be arranged for.

Built to impress, this fully equipped mansion is situated in Tulbagh's Church Street and sleeps up to 12 guests in three double Family Suites.

Located on the first floor, up a flight of stairs, the Cape Dutch Quarters Tulbagh Travellers Lodge offers guests spacious accommodation in clean, well-decorated bright and sunny rooms.

The Coach House is a newly renovated and refurbished cottage; a delightful conversion from a 19th century coach house and stable. The original grand Cape Dutch house, to which this out building belonged, was sadly demolished in the 1960s, leaving the building set in a beautiful private garden.

Deluxe accommodation, comprising 7 spacious double cottages, each with a private patio overlooking a dam, mountain and vineyard views. A cozy fireplace, Victorian-styled bathroom and a fully equipped self catering kitchenette, provide comfort and convenience. Breakfast included, but optional.

Part of the Cape Dutch Quarters portfolio, the original wagon shed of the manor house is a lovely conversion that retains the charm of its original purpose, with a thatched roof and a high reed ceiling. Heavy wooden doors with forged hinges open onto an inner set of windows.
