About B and B at The Castle

Our home resembles a 12th-century English castle, but the interior has the comfort and style associated with South African homes. Located in the coastal sub-tropical region of the Eastern Cape, the hillside garden and its surrounding vegetation blends in with the ocean breezes.

We offer two large units for families or self-catering travellers and one unit for a single or double sharing. The larger unit has one queen-size bed and two single beds in a bunk arrangement. Adjacent to these units is a fully furnished kitchen. The smaller unit is the typical B&B bedroom. All units have en-suite showers. They have separate entrances and are walking distance from the beaches and a 5 Star hotel and pub. Off-street parking is available.

The two larger units can be taken together, and with the kitchen are completely private, for families or groups wanting two bedrooms.

All the amenities were good. Our host was charming and we enjoyed our stay there.

We had a very short stay, came late and left early hours of the morning, it's a fun place as it's a castle, but the inside is very dark, it's got a very ancient feel. But again, we did not stay more than a few hours, so can't really say much.

Larry was warm and welcoming, went out of his way to provide certain services; our stay was private and surrounding atmosphere was awesome.

Our stay was short, but we we well received. Larry also asked re our arrival and safety en route which we thought was a nice touch.
