Blarney Cottage is a lovely country cottage establishment, which is nestled, within the Bvumba Mountains on the eastern border of Zimbabwe. Blarney Cottage has a inviting swimming pool area and an ergonomically situated braai facility. The cottage has an electricity supply and also has a back-up generator. Welcome to a Wonderland and a piece of tranquility found only amongst the star-speckled skies, which is surrounded by a lovely tropical indigenous forest, which is an ideal paradise for birders and those who enjoy scenic walks. Blarney Cottage consists of three furnished bedrooms, with comfortable double or twin beds. A full bathroom is shared and there is also an additional bathroom and shower facility, available in one of the adjacent accommodation buildings. The kitchen is fully-equipped and guests can enjoy their self catered meals in the dining room. The lounge has a cosy bricked fireplace. The establishment is equipped with a DSTV decoder, but guests need to bring their own smart card. Mobile networks are also available. Guests can also visit the various local attractions within 2,5km, such as the Bvumba Botanical Gardens and Reserve, as well as the famous Leopard Rock Golf Course, which offers golfers an 18-hole course. The Kariba Ferry launches from a dock next to the resort which makes this an ideal stopover when catching the ferry. Although each self-catering chalet is different, they all offer certain facilities inclusive of the daily rate. All linen requirements are provided and the fully equipped kitchens offer gas stoves, electric deep freezers and fridges. The bedrooms are fitted with window fly screens and overhead ceiling fans. Matere Cottage sleeps a maximum of four people. You can bring a few children under six years of age but will need to bring your own little bed or cot. For the fit, there is a healthy walk up the Chinawaremba outcrop to enjoy even more spectacular views over Zimbabwe and Mozambique. You can walk to the botanical garden and to the Bunga forest and enjoy this very special little biosphere. It is an ideal place for golfers, birders, hikers, mountain bike riders, motorcyclists and for those who want to observe the beautiful samango monkeys. Matere Cottage is nestled in a large garden and equipped with two bedrooms, one bathroom with bath and shower, equipped kitchen, lounge with a fireplace and dining room. Bed linen and towels are supplied. There is a washing machine that can be used by the caretaker. The caretaker will work for a few hours a day to keep the house tidy. He also knows all the technical details about the house. You can use the small television, but you will have to bring your own decoder and DStv card. In case of power cuts, the 2.5 KVA generator will power the fridge, TV and decoder and the lights. Petrol consumption will have to be paid for the going rate. The generator consumes 1.5 litres per hour but it does not pull the geyser.

Pungwe Drift Cottages offers two self-catering cottages set on the banks of the Pungwe River inside the Nyanga National Park. The cottages are fully equipped with cutlery, crockery, pots, pans, warm bedding and extra blankets. No towels are provided. Each cottage sleeps five guests and has two bedrooms with three single beds in one room and a double in the other. Other bed configurations are possible. Comfortable lounges with Jetmaster fireplaces separate the bedrooms. One cradle of wood per day is included in the rate. If more wood is used, it is charged for at the rate of $5.00 per bundle. There are small dining rooms attached to the kitchens. Cooking is on wood stoves and gas double hotplates. Lighting is by candles and oil lanterns, while hot water is supplied by boilers. There are bathrooms and separate toilets. There are outdoor braais overlooking the river, with outdoor furniture. Charcoal is available for sale. Please bring your own food and drinks plus towels and toiletries. Although there are no fridges at the moment, drinks and necessary items can be left in the cold mountain streams alongside each cottage to cool down. This is the most stunning setting deep inside the Nyanga National Park. Activities include swimming in the natural pools, picnics and enjoying the peace and quiet. For the more adventurous, there is fly fishing, mountain bike trails, wild water rafting, kayaking and river bugging.

Our elegant accommodation consists of three separate chalets set in the Ndabiri complex on Msuna Island. Built of stone with thatch roofing, the chalets are dressed up in splendour that will meet all your expectations. Each chalet overlooks the mighty Zambezi River and is a detached, self-contained unit with en-suite facilities. The bedrooms and lounges have air-conditioning and there are also ceiling fans throughout the chalets. A cook and housekeeper are available and a laundry service is provided, which is included in our rates. There is also ample space for braaiing and entertaining at the lapa and boma on the banks of the Zambezi; great for relaxing after a long day in the African sun. This house has four bedrooms with built-in cupboards and some with en-suite bathrooms. The dining room suite seats eight guests. The lounge has a large, comfortable lounge suite and a small flat-screen television with a DStv connection; guests would need to bring along their own decoder and smart card. Connecting to the lounge is a sun lounge with large windows and there is a veranda opening onto the front lawn. The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering including a laundry room with washing machine, tumble dryer, iron and ironing board. Paths around the property have been cleared for you to walk on and reach the rocks on the far side. You can take a circular walk and venture down into the ravine below.
