Our experience of Vredehoek was not as good as the last contributor. While it is conveniently situated and with beautiful views, we received unfriendly service at Seven Eleven Vredehoek and milk that was off, despite being within the BB date. We went to Deer Park cafe on the day before Christmas. The only one in the party who chose the Ciabatta with chicken mayonaise, commented it tasted funny and was up all night and suffered most of Christmas day.
