A delightful holiday! The pictures did not do the home justice ~ The view was perfect, but the home was warm, homely, with lots of wood floors and big windows~ capturing the South African feel. It had plenty of space for our 6 18-24 year olds and their old parents. A wide selection of reading material, a piano, beautiful pool, lovely music selection ~ even a gold fish pond! I really never needed to leave the house!Just a word of caution, the stairs are quite steep to the upstairs master bedroom and to the downstairs room ~ so if you have health issues or small children...Just be aware.One...

I am a seasoned traveller and have been to over 50 countries in my 12 years of travelling. This was by far one of the most pleasant places I have stayed. The accommodation were comfortable, Cathy and Mark were fabulous hosts, the location was central and the views were incredible. Access to Table Mountian and a slew of outdoor walks was five minutes away. I felt very welcome and as a solo traveler was glad for company, but you can also have more privacy if required. I fell in love with Cape Town and will surely be back again to explore more.

We had the most wonderful time! Typical Cape weather with all four seasons in one day. The house had the perfect location and the pool was a refreshing cool down!

I enjoyed my stay with Cathy and her family tremendously. Not only was she a great hostess, but a very informative person when it came to Cape Town and what to see during our limited stay. We did the typical tourist/World Cup events, but we managed to squeeze in some hiking and running, in which the whole family participated. I felt like home~!
