Cluny Lodge is an executive guest house, centrally situated on a quiet cul-de-sac in Lilongwe and offers warm and exclusive accommodation. Guests have a choice between the Executive, Standard or the Self-catering Units. The rooms are all air-conditioned and equipped with safes as well as TVs with hotel DStv bouquet. The Executive Rooms have en-suite bathrooms while the Standard Rooms have dedicated bathrooms. The Self-catering Units are furnished with single beds and have shower only bathrooms. One of the Self-catering Units has one bedroom while the other unit has two bedrooms. The rooms are serviced daily and a laundry service available. WiFi connectivity is available at a nominal fee and a courtesy bar is available to guests. Breakfast as well as a full fixed three-course dinner is served. The large tranquil garden offers a peaceful background in a secure setting. An airport shuttle service is available on request. The lodge is set in beautiful tropical gardens in the quiet suburb of Namiwawa and is easily accessible from the centre of town. There are nine recently renovated bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms; the rooms all have TVs with DStv, fans, electronic safes and queen-size beds. All rooms can connect to the Internet through a wireless hotspot. The premise has secure parking and the accommodation is on a bed and breakfast basis. There's plenty of outside seating and beautiful surrounds to be enjoyed. Villa 33, Blantyre offers free laundry services for guests and has ample water storage tanks and a back-up generator to ensure that our guests are not greatly inconvenienced by the erratic power and water supply the country experiences. There are many activities to be enjoyed within the area and a few of the top must see places are Mandala House - home of the La Caverna Art Gallery and café. The café serves lunches, various coffees, ice-cream and cake. The gallery has some great carvings and pictures and there's a museum section upstairs. St Michael - All Angels Church - was once described as the first permanent church between the Zambezi and the Nile. This church was designed by a Scottish missionary who was helped by local workers.

We offer one Premier Room and six Executive Rooms, all with large beds and en-suite bathrooms. All the rooms are equipped with air-conditioning and TVs with DStv access. Around this rim are some of the most stunning views in Africa. The hotel is one and a half hour’s drive from Chileka, Blantyre, the nearest international airport. Taxis are available.Hotel transport may be provided by prior arrangement at a nominal fee. The Mulunguzi Restaurant offers both local and international cuisine on a comprehensive à la carte menu. The berries, particularly strawberries, which grow so well on the plateau are nearly always on offer. Bastions Bar complements the restaurant with a well selected wine list. Snacks are available there. Tongole Wilderness Lodge is an exciting new ecotourism venture located deep within the rugged and breathtakingly beautiful miombo woodland of the Nkhotakota Wildlife Reserve in Malawi. The lodge is made for total relaxation and adventure, and guests enjoy complete freedom to choose how they spend their time. The lodge offers guests a choice of staying in one of four River Cottages, each with a raised wooden deck that offers a tranquil and private space to relax and watch the river and forest wildlife go by. All the rooms are furnished with comfortable twin beds that can be converted into a king-size bed on request. The bathroom is en-suite and consists of a flush toilet, a shower and a large hand-built sunken bath that doubles as a plunge pool. Hot water as well as 240v power is available in each cottage. An additional single bed for a third person can be added on request. Luxurious and open-fronted, these cottages offer lovely river views and they blend in perfectly with their unique natural setting. Guests will enjoy delicious meals and refreshing drinks which are included in the rate, and laundry facilities are available if needed. Guests can participate in various activities such as bush walks with a highly trained guide, fly- and freshwater fishing trips, birdwatching or visits to a local traditional village. Guests may even decide to simply relax and enjoy the atmosphere. The reserve supports a rich diversity of flora and fauna, and large mammals found here include elephants, lions, leopards, buffalos and sable antelope, and over 280 species of birds have already been recorded in the area. There are plans to reintroduce species such as giraffes and even black rhinos. Please note that Malawi is a malarial area and it is recommended that guests seek professional medical advice prior to travel. Tongole is also not fenced and children younger than 12 will only be accepted when reserving the entire lodge.
