    Quaint little town
Not too much to do in Darling but that's why I went there to relax. Make sure you book a place to eat supper as there is only one restaurant open that is book full over weekends. there is however a café in the main road that makes the best pizzas.

    Autumn meanders through the town
We so loved the care and style that residents take over their beautiful homes, we really enjoyed walking through the town admiring houses and gardens! The museum has such a creative display of the history if Darling, well done to the community there for their combined efforts to create such an interesting and gorgeous town!

    About Darling
Darling may be a small town but has so much to offer tourists. We had a memorable stay in Darling. We attended the Wild Flower Show, Pieter Dirk Uys's show, the Darling Museum and took trips into the country to see wildflowers. Darling is also close to several wineries of distinction. The Duckitts Orchid Nursery just outside Darling is another fabulous place to visit and purchase some lovely orchids.

Darling - Central to so many attractions
Darling is close enough to Cape Town for a weekend away without a long drive. I was surprised, when I planned my family trip, to discover how central darling actually is. You can get to so many places with only a 15-minute drive. From beer tasting, wine tasting, olive tasting, beaches and a game farm. I am sure there is much more that I did not see.The local people are extremely friendly. It was wonderful to see that local businesses supported each other by displaying local art for sale and recommending other local venues. We found this at a number of places we went to. A real community feel.A...

    Not so happy
I enjoyed the people in Darling; they were very friendly and forthcoming. Did not enjoy the Bistro, food not good. No other decent places to eat, and any other services open either too late and close early.
