Beautiful, unspoilt beaches, perfect for families
Chintsa east has beautiful beaches, stretching for kilometres and the unspoilt beauty of it cannot go unnoticed. The beach also has a lovely lagoon, perfect for families with small children. The weather is also great and Chintsa is very quiet and tranquil, but still close enough to the big centres to make shopping relatively easy. They also have some nice restaurants around.

Great break away!
There is no place like the Wild Coast, and Chintsa offers all the perks of the Transkei with added convenience of the shops and fuel station. There are beautiful MTB trails in the region. I will return soon for another awesome adventure!

Cintsa East - South Africa's best kept secret
Chintsa East serves as the perfect setting to explore vast, empty beaches. the rural countryside of the Transkei and the sheer cliffs and seaside waterfalls of the Wild Coast with it's thunderous, cascading waves crashing into the rugged coastline. Once you visit Cintsa, you will not want to leave.Cintsa itself contains many attractions. It's beautiful 6km long beach is flawless in every way, whale and dolphin sightings are a common occurrence. The village has a good offering of retaurants, from the romantic to the rustic! The local country club has tennis, bowls, volleyball and deepsea fishing...

Cintsa East
Chintsa, “the little village with a big heart”. Overlooking the Chintsa lagoon and bay, it is neatly nestled into the coastal dune and riverine forests of the area.It serves as the southern gateway to the Wild Coast, famous for its unspoilt beaches, rich natural environment and rural lifestyle. Chintsa is 40km form East London, which has an airport, and also forms part of the Jikeleza Route, a coastal meander route between East London and the southern Wild Coast. Spend a morning traversing the Jikeleza and enjoy the shops, nurseries, restuarants and playgrounds. Chintsa boasts an unspoilt coas...

Jewel of the Wild Coast
Just north of East London, Eatern Province South Africa starts the wild coast, an area of endless beaches and few visitors, snuggled into the first corner is Chintsa Bay a largely undiscovered hamlet which provides nature lovers, bird watchers and fisherman with a package of delights. Away from the madding crowd where you can enjoy the sublime beauty of nature at its best yet have the comforts of choice of 3 restaurants, coffee shop, sports facilities of tennis and bowls, shops to cater for your evening braai or enjoy a sundowner on a deck overloooking the sea. Relaxation and time to reflect...
