Back to basics
We spent quite a few holidays in Cape St Francis when our children were small. Coming back after many years we remembered how we loved the natural beauty, quietness and that it's not highly commercialized. Our children spent hours in the rock pools and we all got involved in make sand castles and other beachy stuff. It's a dream place to take kids were they can still do all the kinds of stuff we did as kids.

Cape St Francis riverside holiday
We loved spending the week at Cape St Francis. It is a beautiful little town with everything you need at hand. We enjoyed buying the most amazing variety of fresh rolls every day from the bakery. We often just cruised around on our bicycles just to admire the beautiful ocean and bird life. There are numerous great restaurants. A huge opportunity for all kinds of outdoor activities: swimming, walking, kayaking, cycling, boating and fishing. - Marina Burger

Loved it
We loved our weekend spent in Cape St Francis. What made it so great was that you can do so much if you are an outdoors person. Lots of walks, nice road to ride your bike on and for running. The beach is great for swimming and great for surfing. In a nutshell, great training grounds for ironman as long as the wind is at bay.

Not overcrowded
I enjoyed Cape St Francis as it has a stunning beach that is not overcrowded and the water is warm. My son enjoyed the surf spots. The beach is also nice for running and walking. The local pub, Stix, is fun and has great live music. Cape St Francis is not as busy as other holiday places and only 5 km away from any additional facilities you would like.

Surfers' heaven
If you have ever seen the film 'The Endless Summer', you will know the way in which this amazing little seaside village was discovered. I enjoy Cape St Francis every single time I visit and I never want to leave.
