Cathedral Peak The two-hour Rainbow Gorge Trail is one of the most popular and picturesque hikes in the Cathedral Peak area. This fairly easy trail starts at the Didima Camp and follow the base of Tryme Hill through a forest of magnificent yellowwoods. Once in the Ndumeni River gorge, the path leads upstream to a narrow gorge of rainbows.

From there it’s a steep descent via the Mlambonja Pass.
