Great place! Lovely breakfast and close to park. Loved the garden and friendly people

The room was beautiful and so were all the facilities such as the swimming pool, garden and breakfast area. The hosts were excellent and very helpful. We enjoyed our stay immensely and would recommend this place to everyone visiting this area.

This is our second time round and everthing was just right. The price, the rooms, the breakfast, the braai, the trip to Addo Park - that was a bonus. You ask for something extra and they will try to accommodate you.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The accommodation was comfortable and thoughtfully decorated and nothing was too much trouble for our hosts Delano and Lisa. Food was also delicious. The all day safari organised and lead by Delano was an absolute highlight; exciting, informative and fun. We would highly recommend this B and B.

It was an amazing stay. Delano and Liz were such friendly hosts. One day was just too short!

We felt quite pampered here. We had a beautiful, large room with a nice patio. The whole setting was tranquil and the hosts Lize and Delano were very welcoming and friendly. Wish we could have stayed longer!

De Old Drift Guest Farm Self Catering unit was fabulous. Clean and bright bedrooms, very well equipped kitchen and a shower with power! However, it was the views and gardens that we most enjoyed. If we visit Addo again, we shall certainly stay at the De Old Drift Guest Farm.

We had a good stay in the Old Firm Guest House, and the people were friendly. It is very quiet and a good place to rest.

I stayed at the Addo De Old Drift Guest Farm with two friends of mine at end Feb 09. I was a great place to stay and very close to Addo Park. Only, that we missed an A/C in our little cottage (but: such A/C was available in other rooms).

The Weather was terrible , the whole town's electricity fell out , but it was still a wonderful but short stay.the farm , the ( what I call ) bird village over the water.This makes for wonderful memories.

Lovely picturesque farm, complete with a short explanation of historic events of the farm. Lovely staff who made us feel at home! Lots of activities to do, all can be arranged from within the farm.

Lovely people who made us feel welcome and nothing was too much trouble for them. Fresh lemons from the trees whenever we wanted. Lovely weather so we sunbathed in August! Only one restaurant in Addo, but it was good. Good though few other local attraction - crocs and baby lions, elephant park and the 3 hour horse ride was brilliant. Lovely thatched cottage set away from the main house was delightful. Own BBQ area. Two lovely dogs welcomed us every arrival, but they were very safe, obedient and well behaved.

FANTASTIC in every way. The accommodation was perfect, facilities brilliant, Liza and her husband were so accommodating and friendly, nothing was too much bother. Homemade breakfast muffins were particularly delicious. For their first year in business this couple have excelled themselves. As a family we holiday around the world 3-4 times a year and Olde Drifte has made it into our top 5 places where we have stayed. Excellent value for money. Very close to Addo Elephant reserve. Our 2 children, aged 3 and 7 loved the farm, they were able to roam round with freedom, enjoyed fishing and quad biking. We originally only booked 2 nights but extended our stay because it was such a perfect start to our holiday. We would definitely recommend to friends and can't wait to return. Excursions to Scotia safari, Daniels Cheetah Centre and Reptile Centre in Addo were FABULOUS. Our children and ourselves did not want to leave. Thank you so much

The website probably does this place a disservice as it is a lovely establishment. It really is idyllic but a possible downside for some may be a lack of TV-which when the weather is poor - is something nice to fall back on. BUT-that probably does not suit the general selling point of the establishment!

The farm was great, so peaceful with lovely modern pool area and restaurant with Lizl's great home cooking. The owners could not have been more friendly or helpful and our self catering cottage was very well equipped and great value for money. We even had our own 'bodyguards' in Timon and Pumba, the resident dogs who were a very cute pair! It only took about 20 mins to Addo park entrance from here. NOTE: If you are self catering drive to Lenmore Deli shop - just before the Addo park entrance, it's well stocked with fresh food and much nicer than the supermarket in the small town.

I enjoyed it, neat and clean, very friendly. If Im ever in the area Id gladly come by again.

What a lovely peaceful setting, the perfect place to get away from it all! Will definitely recommend it to anybody!
