Beautiful house, fantastic sea views, excellent breakfast but most of all our hosts were lovely genuine people. Definitely the nicest guest house I've stayed in and would recommend the Dunes highly.

Stunning sea views from the breakfast room. We were able to watch whales from there. You can sit there for hours. Great!! Nice and very clean rooms. We had a great time! Excellent service and very friendly hosts. Definitely a place to come back!!

Lovely B&B sitting high above the Umdloti beach with views across the Indian Ocean to India! We were extremely comfortable and found Richard, Glenda and Michelle the most charming and accommodating hosts. Dolphin Dunes is well named - we viewed a school of dolphins from our breakfast table - and in season dolphins and whales are regular traffic past the window! We can certainly recommend this luxurious B&B for its proximity to Uldloti, to Umschlanga and for easy access too to Durban. Excellent value too in our view.

We enjoyed our stay from the first to the last minute. The location is beautiful, especially the garden. The rooms leave nothing to be desired. The hospitality and advice rendered by the hosts is outstanding and was invaluable for us as we used the 'The Dune' as the starting point for further expeditions in KwaZulu-Natal. We hope to return soon! It's only a pity that children under 14 can't be accomodated.

The owner Richard and daughter make a great team, breakfast is fantastic, the setting of the house and view are fabulous, I will strongly recommend it to anyone who likes to be spoiled.
