Cozy and spacious Guest House with delightful garden. two double rooms. Garden apartment can sleep six people. 5 minutes walk to Devils Peak Mountain for lovely morning walks along mountain trails also leading to Table Mountain. Ten minutes drive to popular Camps Bay, Sea Point and Clifton beaches. Two minutes drive to city centre to visit museums, art gallery in Public Gardens. Eight minutes drive to V and A waterfront, two minutes to highway leading to other tourist attractions. Very centrally situated for all tourist needs. Rooms are cool in summer and warm and cozy in winter. TV and fans in all rooms. Full breakfast is served either under cool grapevines or on upstairs landing with views of Cape Town Harbour and surrounding suburbs of Cape Town. If self catering is preferred,there is a large kitchen for self-catering with all accessories. Spacious lounge for relaxing. French doors leading to peaceful and inviting garden to enjoy a meal or sundowner or sun upper under cool grapevines. You have seperate accommodation with a seperate entrance. Enclosed secure parking in garage.

I had the pleasure of sharing the main house of Rachel's House for three days, and I can vouch for the home-away-from-home feeling. There was some concern that her two dogs would be a hindrance, but they were so lovable that I threatened to take one back to Ireland with me. For a quiet place to stay close to the city centre, without the confines of a hotel room or single B&B room, I can recommend staying here as I will be doing so again in the future.

Great spot and lovely guest house. I felt well looked after. The place is great and highly recommend it to anyone. Rachel couldn't be nicer. She even regularly emailed by family to let them know how I was doing.

We enjoyed our stay of one night extended to five. Rachel is an excellent host. Her warm and caring personality accompanied the comfort and peace in her home. We would recommend Rachel's house to anyone who wants to retire for a night in tranquility in a blessed home. The unique style of this guest house is one of fantasy, very intriguing, and accommodates something that will grasp the mind of everyone – you don’t even have to look that far – just relax and enjoy…
