The bedroom has a queen-sized bed, ample cupboard space, a reed ceiling and view of the National Park. The bathroom has a lavatory, bath and shower. The kitchen, living room has bay windows and a sea view. The kitchen has a bar, gas hob and electric oven, and the living room a fold-out sofa and arm chair. The living room and bedroom both open into a braai area which is protected from the sometimes fearsome south-east wind.

Relaxing retreat at the beach

Interesting and engaging hosts. Comfortable beach cottage. Peaceful beach community. Located a short drive away from the restaurants, commerce, and activities of the larger seaside towns. A great place to get away from it all, or to use as a base from which to explore the Cape. Good for a couple or small family .

We were here three days and had a really good time: The iKhaya eScarborough is a calm place and a nice african-styled house. The host is friendly, attentive and helpful! Good price-performance ratio.

The pictures on the web don't do it justice. A very comfortable house with plenty of space and luxuries. The owners stay just next door and have a huge trampoline, pool and slide that you can use. Beautiful sunsets over the sea from your balcony, Long hot showers, walks to the perfect beach not far away. We really had one of our best, refreshing family holidays. Thank you!

Quaint, lavender-scented, neat as a pin and very reasonably priced - wish we weren't in such a rush and could only stay one night. Highly recommended.
