Amazing and relaxing weekend


Me and my husband, Louis, needed a relaxing break very urgently and we have found it at this TRULY amazing lodge. The peace and tranquility were good for soul and mind. Burt was an excellent host and the staff were always friendly. The food was of very high standard and it was noticed that everybody at this Lodge aimed to make our stay as comfortable, relaxing and special as possible. Fantastic Experience


Just a few points on my experience at the Bushmen / San Village - Help all along the road - Lovely salad prepared at 23h00 arrival time (supposed to be 17h00) after having an accident on the road and constant telephonic support to ensure my safe arrival. Not to mention the very welcome strong drink prepared by Bert :-) - Very friendly staff at all times - They literally make you feel 'part' of the bush and I felt very at home - Website doesn't do it any justice - you have to see ... more

This very unique Limpopo Bushveld destination, called the Bushmen / San Safari Lodge & Tented Camp is Safe and Malaria Free. Situated on the side of a small hill, overlooking Africa in all her glory.It is neighbour to the Bushmen/San people. The Tented Camp is based and themed around the Culture and ways of The San people while the Safari Lodge represents the ultimate in luxury and comfort. Share one of your evenings around the open fire in the conversation of these unique people, experiencing life as it was up to 4 000 years ago. A must visit if you want to be at peace with yourself and The Bushmen. You will wake up in the night, thinking : here I am, were I ought to be.The very private Tented CAMP can sleep a total of 16 persons (4 per tent). It consists of 4 Separate 3-compartment, fully equipped Tented units, each with own private boma, toilet and warm water shower. Fully or Self-catering. The Safari Lodge can sleep a total of 18 persons (up to 3 per room). It consists of 4 luxury en-suite rooms and 3 fully equipped en-suite luxury Bush Cottages. Fully or Self-catering.

Hemmingway-style tents, placed under an elevated thatched roof. Own private braai area with boma. Tent consists of three sections: private en-suite bathroom, bedroom area with 1 queen and 1 single beds, varendah area with outside view. One unit is Ideal for a family or group of 3 persons. The camp has only 2 tented units and 3 Luxury Cottages, private and secure in the bush. Electricity is 220V, oil lamps and candles. Warm water,  Fridge/freezer, gas stove in catering area. All bedding, towels and kitchen items included.  Self-catering or meals at the Main Lodge.

A large elevated, luxury bush cottage, situated on the side of a hill, overlooking the waterhole, Bushveld trees and grass. Very private, yet within walking distance from the Main Safari Lodge. Small kitchenette with everything needed to do self-catering. Private boma. Each cottage has 1 double bed and, 1 single bed and can thus sleep up to 3 persons. Meals can be booked at the Main Lodge and served at the Cottage, should you wish to dine in private.
