At Mountain View Bush Lodge you can experience the serenity, the quiet, the peacefulness of the bushveld as you look over the Waterberg Mountains, and on a good day you can see the Marakele Mountain in the distance.

Sit on the deck with the magnificent view and see the sunrise in all its majestic colours as it rises over the mountains and bursts into a blaze of gold and the fiery red of a new day. Experience the sunset as you sit in the boma when the same colours are being painted on the horizon as the sun sets on another day.

View the game in the mornings and the evenings when a variety of animals come to drink at the lodge waterhole.

The fact that electricity is supplied by means of a solar system, lends to the atmosphere the quiet and stillness of the bush; when and if necessary, the power supply is supplemented by a diesel-powered generator.

Each of the comfortable en-suite bedrooms has large windows and overlooks a waterhole immediately in front of the lodge. Each room contains a queen-size bed, comfortable armchair and large built-in cupboards. Tea and coffee-making facilities and complimentary toiletries are supplied.

Experience friendly, warm country hospitality at our newly opened hostel. Abuelita Hostel is an old farmhouse that has recently been renovated into four basic dormitory-style rooms than can accommodate groups of 3 up to 12 labourers or contractors. Small groups can enjoy this intimate setting and really make it a home away from home. We offer affordable budget accommodation and strive to meet all your company's needs.

Abuelita Hostel is conveniently situated about 3 km outside Lephalale (Ellisras), Limpopo Province, with easy access to Medupi and other construction sites in and around town. Come and enjoy the magnificent Waterberg District and facilities that Ellisras has to offer.

Book the full unit including all four rooms; for small group bookings of three to twelve guests. Rooms are dormitory-style and bathrooms and living areas are shared.

Abuelita Hostel is a privately owned company and is run by the Versfeld-Family. We have recently decided to renovate the farm house into a hostel where guests can enjoy our warm hospitality. We named it Abuelita to honour my late grandmother. She was born in Argentina and immigrated to South Africa with her parents as a young woman. Spanish was her home language and you could always hear her talk away to herself in Spanish when she thought no one was listening. That is where we found the inspiration for our name. The word “Abuelita” translates into “grandmother”.

Abuelita is an owner-run Hostel set in the tranquil bushveld. This beautiful establishment with its four dormitory-style rooms offers visitors a friendly, peaceful and comfortable home from home, where you will instantly feel welcome and at ease. We pride ourselves on our service and will strive to make your stay as relaxing and enjoyable as possible.
