Woodlands provides families and groups of up to 10 persons a peaceful and intimate venue for a Bush Break, in beautiful surroundings.
The Lodge is situated just outside Ladysmith in Northern KZN. It is set within Nambiti Private Game Reserve (Big 5). The area is malaria-free. Easily accessed from Durban or Johannesburg (just 2.5 hrs from Durban and 3.5 hrs from JHB).
Woodlands sleeps up to 10 adults and can accommodate an extra 2 children in a family room. There are 5 double bedrooms each with bathroom en-suite. There is a formal lounge, TV lounge (with DSTV), dining room, bar, protected verandah with beautiful view. The kitchen is fully equipped and there are two ladies to service the lodge and do basic cooking. Additionally there is the option of a fully catered rate which include 3 meals daily and all non-alcoholicare beverages. These rates are as follows: Mid-week - R5500.00 for the first 6 persons and R525.00 pppn thereafter; Weekend - R6100.00 for the first 6 persons and R525.00 pppn thereafter.
The Lodge is fenced, which makes it safer for children, and there is a large area for them to play and ride bicycles, etc. There is also a fenced swimming pool, and a tennis court and Boma.
Woodlands has it's own Ranger and the accommodation cost includes 2 Game drives per full day's stay. These can be arranged at your convenience.
