The Book House Cottage offers you stylish and comfortable accommodation in a quiet street in central Harrismith.
The original house has pressed ceilings and wooden floors. It is also home to award winning Afrikaans author Alexander Strachan. The accommodation is ideal for couples, groups, sportsmen and families.
All 4 our self-catering units have their own entrances and each cottage boasts with a private lounge and an outdoor area with braai facilities. The main feature of the cottages is ample space and luxury. They are all well equipped and furnished with leather couches and DSTV.
There is a book depot with 8 000 books on the property.
Secure parking at your doorstep, outside lights and lovely lawns.

This beautiful, spacious cottage contains a very large main bedroom with a real Victorain queen size bed - most suiteable for a honeymoon couple (full bathroom with shower). The adjacent room has two single beds to accommodate a family. (Towels and soap supplied).
The private lounge is tastefully furnished with a leather couch and soft chairs. The antique showcase displays Royal Doulton, adding to the Victorian style. It has its own library with a fine collection of books. DSTV.
There is a fully equipped kitchen with a stove, microwave, toaster, kettle and fridge. A full range of cutlery and crockery. A sunny veranda and lovely lawns. Secure parking wath private entrance. It sleeps 2-5 people.
