Description
Rocky Ridge is a fully fledged lodge situated in the scenic foothills of the Southern Drakensburg. We offer comfortable, convenient overnight accommodation to the traveller who is fortunate enough to find him/herself in this spectacular part of KwaZulu Natal. We boast seventeen large rooms, with a total of 34 double beds and en-suite bathrooms. Each room consists of two double beds, a fan, a heater, tea and coffee facilities, DSTV, and for the ‘workaholic’, a desk with a study lamp and chair. All basic necessities, such as linen, towels and soaps, are supplied. Our rooms are also serviced on a daily basis. Parking is never an inconvenience, as you have your own undercover parking bay right next to your room and our lodge has electronic access. We specialise in Business Functions, Conferences and Weddings. We have two wonderful conference centres, one of which caters for 16 persons around a boardroom table, while the other seats 120 – 150 persons comfortably. We have an immaculate barbeque facility on our deck, for those who wish to have a traditional South African meal. Relax and unwind in our cosy, casual bar, or sit down to a delicious home-cooked breakfast or dinner in our buffet-style dinging room. Farm walks, as well as fishing and hunting weekends can be arranged on request. For the more daring soul, air flips over East Griqualand are also easily arranged as the local airstrip is only two kilometres from the Lodge and is owned by the proprietors of Rocky Ridge Lodge. With Kirsten and Cecilia as your hosts, you are guaranteed satisfaction!
