Your hosts, Rene and Mary Ann Bosch, lavishes you with personal attention, serves you, cooks for you and entertains you with fasinating stories of their two irrespective families. Personal touch personified! The restaurant is open to all for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We cater for small weddings, birthday and anniversary parties. South African/Dutch food is served and we are licensed. Kaijaiki meaning small, humble dwelling, is owned by Rene and Mary Ann. Rene, a Dutchman and skilled chef and Mary Ann hails from Cape Town and is the designer of Kaijaiki, the name, the building and the interior. Yzerfontein typifies all that is best about a beach village. A sense of calm serenity prevails here. Yzerfontein is a proclaimed urban conservancy where natural fynbos has been retained. Whales enter the bay in summer to calf.Walks have been laid out for those who want to stroll along the shore.
