Description

Located halfway between Storms River Mouth and Knysna, this perfectly positioned property is nestled below the Tsitsikamma mountains, just a stone's throw from Natures Valley on the famous Garden Route of South Africa.

Four Fields is situated in the heart of the Garden Route, arguably in the best position in the Southern Cape, and is an ideal stop-off point on the way to Shamwari or the Addo Elephant Park.

Our property is a must for birdwatchers and twitchers alike, with frequent visits by the famed Knysna Turaco or Lourie, the rare Narina Trogon, several species of Kingfisher, and the magnificent Fish Eagle. We have several dams containing mature Large Mouth Bass for your fishing pleasure, and are close to Natures Valley, which is frequented by local fishermen in the know.

We can also help arrange activities for guests such as, boat-based whale and dolphin-watching, coastal and forest walks in the indigenous Tsitsikamma forest, horse-riding, blackwater tubing, river boat rides, and bungee jumping.

Day trips in around the Crags include Monkey Land, Birds of Eden, Tenikwa Wildlife Sanctuary, Lawnwood Snake Sanctuary, and the Elephant Sanctuary, or a peaceful day on one of the pristine beaches.
