Description

All our rooms have their own separate private entrances overlooking the park like garden and award winning swimming pool, separate to the main house. There is plenty of safe off street parking behind automated gates.

We have 10 rooms, five with self-catering kitchenettes. We are 4 star graded TGCSA accommodation with luxury comforts but at affordable rates. We offer comfortable double, twin, king beds with electric blankets, ceiling fans and heaters, all tastefully furnished and decorated. Each room has a bar fridge, microwave, iron plus ironing board, toaster, basic cutlery and crockery as well as coffee/tea making facilities. The rooms have CD/radio players, hairdryers, TV, M-Net plus DStv, hospitality plus all sports channels, DVD players, a safe for personal items and all have their own en-suite bathrooms with heated towel rails All rooms are smoke free. All rooms have Wi-Fi. There is a Tuscan style breakfast room where a full English buffet breakfast is served, Dinner is available on request. We offer fax as well as internet availability.

We offer a shuttle service to/from airport on request in our VW micro-bus. We are close to Walmer Park Shopping Mall, Restaurants, Movies, Airport, Beaches, Hospitals, Casino Complex and loads of tourist attractions. Trips to nearby Addo National Park and Storms River/Plettenberg Bay/Knysna/Jeffrey's Bay may be arranged on request. Every need is catered for to make your stay happy and memorable. Character: Character-filled old English manor house circa 1920; original farm house of Walmer with themed cottages in our award-winning park-like garden. Winner of the Garden of the Year 2008.

Location: We are situated close to PE Airport, Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium, Walmer Park Shopping Mall, restaurants, bars, hospitals, movies theatres, pristine Blue Flag beaches, Addo and Big 5 malaria-free game reserves, as well as the CBD.

Family: Large secured enclosed park-like garden with swimming pool and trampoline. Babysitter available on request. Cot and highchair provided.

Golf: Little Walmer Golf Course is a 50 m walk away, with clubs available.

Great Outdoors: Mountain biking and hiking trails in Guinea Fowl Trail and Baakens Valley. Bikes available and there is golf nearby.

Historical & Cultural: One of the original old farm houses in the suburb of Walmer, built in 1920 and beautifully restored to its former glory.

Honeymoon Romance: Romantic honeymoon suite with honeymoon and bridal package available. Ideal as a romantic getaway and a bridal car is available on request. Venue for brides preparing for that special day with wedding photos in garden.

Luxury: 4 Star graded by the Tourism Grading Council of South Africa. UA accessible. Large spacious en-suite king/twin bedded rooms with separate free standing baths and showers

Wedding Venues: We cater for brides preparing on their wedding day; the garden is ideal for photos before the wedding service and a honeymoon package is offered in our honeymoon suite. A black with white top 1966 classic Mercedes is available on request.

Business Traveller: All areas have unlimited free Wi-Fi and a fax, copier and printer are available. A laptop is also available.

Conference venue: Mini-conferencing facilities available for up to 16 delegates with catering offered in a relaxed environment. Venue opens onto the courtyard and garden with outdoor seating.

Disabled Friendly: We offer three wheelchair UA graded accessible rooms with a ramp and roll-in shower and hand-held shower and grab rails. All doors are extra wide. Our dining area and parking are all on a flat level with parking next to the rooms.

Outstanding Views: Sweeping views of our award-winning garden and Romanesque swimming pool, as well as of Little Walmer Golf Course with the distant greenbelt of the Baakens Valley.

The staff was friendly and went out of their way to help. Breakfast was good and served in a homely atmosphere. The room was fairly good but it was disappointing that rusks and biscuits on offer were lying there previously opened.

What a pleasure to stay in a Guest House with a beautiful huge spacious garden to relax in and enjoy. James made us feel really welcome and came to the rescue when we discovered we were toasterless. Rooms always cleaned immaculately. Thanks for keeping pool net on and I really appreciated wifi access - made my life much easier thanks a mil! thank you for a restful stay.
