Live in the sunshine, swim the sea, and drink the wild air - Emerson. Idyllically situated on an unspoilt beach and surrounded by lush dune forest, Yengele Paradise is perfect for barefoot lodgers interested in exploring, watching or simply lazing the days away.
Yengele Paradise sits quietly overlooking the Trafalgar Marine Reserve with its 90-million year old fossil beds and the mighty vegetation of the Yengele Forest. Guests can enjoy inspired vantages and convenient access to the truly awesome spaces that surround it.
The lodge marks the start of the Pondoland biome and its diverse plant species, making it a perfect link through the Wild Coast. All this, with the individual services and attractions of Margate and Port Edward, a mere 10 minutes away.
This boutique retreat is marked by quiet pleasures and private moments allowing for genuine beach lodge living that is both comfortable and surprisingly contemporary.
Guests have the option of B&B or self-catering using the fully equipped kitchen. The kitchen is for the exclusive use of guests and is serviced throughout the day, making it ideal for guests to prepare lunches and dinners for themselves. Guests may also help themselves to the variety of teas and fresh ground coffee available.
The dining and living areas are open plan and flow from the deck allowing alfresco dining while watching the whales, browsing bushbuck, duiker, genets and other abundant wildlife. In addition special dietary requirements are catered for with vegan meals being a speciality.
Children over the age of 14 are welcome.
During our mid and peak seasons, the lodge is only available as a two or three-bedroom, self-catering beach house. Out of season there is the option of booking the lodge as your own private beach getaway.
