About Rooiberg Safaris
Included in the price: All meals & a welcome drink by chef Willem, 2 game drives a day & Free WIFI. A holiday custom fit to your heart's desire in the cultural Klein Karoo with a private ranger and an executive chef, anything you liking, anytime you please. The Lodge can be rented as a unit, or as separate rooms. All three luxury, spacious rooms open to the patio. All 3 rooms are fitted with king-size beds, all with en-suite bathrooms. Top quality linen, towels, slippers, swimming towels are provided. The lodge includes a swimming pool, boma, braai area, lounge and television (DSTV) room, dining room, fully equipped kitchen and total privacy in nature. Incredible mountain views from the patio.There is a waterhole 80m from lodge where game regularly visits to the delight of clients.
Safari: Over 30 species of wildlife roaming free on 5000ha. Game drives, hiking, birdwatching, picnics, sundowners, swimming in nature (draught at the moment) and so much more. Night drives for the adventurous.
Beach: We are 2 hours from the coast, not too close. But if you travel from the Garden Route, we are a great, luxury stop-over. Worth considering exploring the Klein Karoo a day or two before getting back to Cape Town.
Spa: Pre-booked, Rooiberg Safaris' spa opens to both public and guests. Local special: 50% off for SA citizens. In harmony with nature, the spa-room is located almost inside a Boerboon Tree, or the veld. Treatment days: Ladismith's Facebook page.
Golf: Ladismith Golf Course 15km from lodge. The course challenges with ash greens and therefor just a little more fun.
Wedding Venues: Planning in progress, opening 1 Sep 2018. Boutique weddings for 20 - 30 guests. The bride's party stays In the lodge, with many B&B's 15km away, Ladismith for guests to pick from. Bookings open.
Conference Venues: Our business venue opens in March and is ready for booking. An outdoor restaurant for 20 people, fitted with projector & big-screen, any lab-top will do. From fine cuisine to a great braai, Chef Willem prepares all. Game drives also available.
Family friendly: Children are delighted by game drives, swimming & picnics. Fresh air and nature walks, always a winner. Some toys provided. To relax for short periods, DSTV. (Pre-booked and at extra cost) Chef Willem gives Little Chef Classes, or a Nanny organised.

Soil, rocks, sand, water, and all other parts of the environment may not be collected, removed, disturbed, or damaged. We have a strict recycling policy in place. Ask the ranger or other staff members when unsure. No damage to property or harming of fauna and flora. Plants may not be collected, damaged or disrupted. Permission may be asked, for example for the distribution of elephant bush (spekbos), but plants can not cross international borders. We are a water scarce area. Please conserve water. We strive towards a total green environment. Electricity should be conserved as we work on solar power whenever we can. No dogs, pets, or domestic animals are permitted, except service animals for persons with disabilities. Do not feed the animals or leave food for them. Do not disrupt, harm, touch, No firearms/bow or any other weapons allowed. Should a firearm/ bow/ any other weapon be brought onto the farm (for instance for clay pigeon, target practise or any other uses), the owner should be informed before the visit and national and international laws apply. The firearm/ bow/ weapon will be kept in a safe. Any harm/ disruption to an endangered - or any other species will be considered poaching and will be treated as such. see more
