It took us a long time to find even after asking locals for the location as there was no signs on the entrance gate. We also had at least a 2 km drive over a very bad farm track to get to the accommodation once we found the gate.

No gas for stove to make coffee or to heat geyser.  Owner no where to be found for 15 minutes in 6 degrees C.  Only solar power, no other electricity source after promised that there would be power to at least use hairdryer - it was freezing after taking a cold shower and no coffee.  Could not call owner, no cell reception. Emailed them, but have not received any feedback as yet.

Bietjie ongerieflik sonder koel geriewe. Ook is daar geen wi-fi, tv en swembad. (slegs klein opslaan swembad by ketting winkel gekoop).  Cottage was mooi skoon en netjies.  Hierdie is eerder n gasteplaas en beslis nie n "Estate" nie.

The setting is good, but some improvements are necessary.  The cottage I stayed in, was very basic (I don't know what the others are like) and need some upgrading, like roof insulation against the summer heat, more utensils for making food and supplying towels as standard.  The breakfast on offer is very nice and good value for money.  I could see you are still new in the accommodation industry.  Go out and learn from established places.  You can do good if you meet the expectations of current day holiday makers. You also need to supply more info on the internet, like photos of the cottages...

Very friendly host, excellent food. The cabins are simple, but nice with great views. Especially the kids loved the animals on the farm.
