About OppiStoep Restaurant and Accommodation
OppiStoep offers comfortable accommodation and a lovely restaurant, situated in the main street of Marquard. This is a must for everyone who appreciates the peace and tranquillity of the countryside.
There are three rooms available for families or couples. Each room consists of a private bathroom, a kitchenette and a TV with selected DStv channels.
The large veranda gives an excellent view of the mountain and the town dam in the direction of Clocolan. Enjoy our a-la-carte menu with great food and good wine between Tuesdays and Sundays. Our specialties are mainly on the grill, and our meat comes from our local cattle feeders. There is a ladies bar with beautiful paintings by local artists that adorn the walls.
A safe environment for children has been created in the garden, where parents can relax while the kids play on the jumping castle. We can cater for small functions such as birthday parties, year-end functions or even the occasional karaoke.
