Obaa Sima Guest House is an elegant guest house situated in Umtata, just five minutes from the town centre.
Obaa Sima offers guests a choice of staying in one of the lovely Executive or Standard Rooms, which is situated in such a way to ensure privacy for each guest. The Executive Rooms are furnished with comfortable king-size beds and the Standard Rooms with double beds, and each room has a private bathroom that consists of a bath and a shower. Linen as well as electric blankets are provided and each room is equipped with a satellite TV. The rooms are air-conditioned.
A selection of full breakfasts, lunch and dinner are available on request and catering for a special function can also be arranged. Guests can relax in the lounge which is equipped with a TV or cool off in the swimming pool. Braai facilities are available.
Situated at the cultural heart of the Eastern Cape, the Nelson Mandela Museum is a short drive away and many cultural sites such as Nelson Mandela's birth place can be visited. Various nature reserves can also be visited in the area.
