About Massinga Beach

Located far from the madding crowd, 89 km up the coast from Inhambane Airport, this lodge overlooks a breathtaking stretch of endless beach. Each spacious Ocean Front Room opens out onto a furnished private deck featuring a splash pool. Comfort is ensured by the king-size bed surrounded by a dreamy mosquito net curtain enclosing the air-conditioning above, sumptuous bed linen, a stocked mini bar, tea and coffee facilities, laptop safe and pedestal fan, while the bathroom provides fluffy bath sheets, luxurious guest amenities, a free-standing bath tub, and en-suite rain shower opening out onto the deck.

Massinga Beach is accessible by self-drive, 568 km north of Maputo. Mozambique Airlines fly between OR Tambo International Airport and Inhambane. The lodge offers air-conditioned transfers from Inhambane Airport to the town of Massinga, with the lodge located 13 km off the main road.
Beach: The lodge overlooks a breathtaking stretch of beach. Stroll along the 1.3 km of remote pristine beach or picnic in private between the boulders.
