Mar Azul 2

This house is situated on Mar Azul private beach housing estate in Ponta Malongane. It is located on the beachfront row of houses. The house has six bedrooms, all en-suite (shower, toilet, and basin). Upstairs there are two large bedrooms with king-size beds with annexed rooms each one with single bed bunk beds, and downstairs four bedrooms, two bedrooms have king-size beds and two bedrooms have two double beds. Fresh linen provided. The two upstairs bedrooms have sea views, the four downstairs bedrooms face the sea and have views of the natural bush. This house sleeps a total of 16 people.

The house has its own private swimming pool.

There are ceiling fans in all the bedrooms, no air conditioning.

The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering and open plan to the lounge/living room area. The kitchen is equipped with a gas stove and oven, microwave, kettle, toaster, electric pan, 2 fridge/freezers, 1 deep freezer. The house has TV and Dstv at an additional cost of R40 per day, if you wish to have this activated during your stay please let us know 2 weeks before your arrival.

There is a weber braai, wood, or Charcoal that can be bought in Malongane Village.

The house shares a beach boardwalk with two other houses.

There is a laundry with a washing machine, you need to bring your own washing powder with you. The house is serviced daily. There is one compulsory staff member and a second housekeeper is optional. The staff must be paid R70 each per day.

You can buy all your provisions at Hluhluwe or Manguzi, including meat (great butchery at bottom of Hluhluwe town). Manguzi is 10 kilometers from the Kosi Bay border, there is a Spar Superette where you can buy dry and fresh food supplies.

Please take note that if you are booked in on Mar Azul Estate and have a boat, jet ski, or quad bike, you can park 1 of 2 places, see below:
Park at the security gate (bottom of the hill) R300 a day.
Park at the top of the hill (communal parking) - free
If you decide to park at the security gate then ensure that you have enough cash to pay for the parking on your departure date.


To try and keep everyone safe and happy, please take note of some of our important house Rules:

The speed limit in the resort is 10kilometer/hr.
Please respect the 10:30 pm noise restriction - Loud music is not much fun when you are not at the party.
No fireworks are allowed. Nearly all of our houses are made of wood and this could go horribly wrong.
No children under the age of 18 are allowed to ride a quad bike. (Please note that this is Mozambiquean law, not our rules).
No littering. We know this sounds really obvious, but you would be amazed. And, we would really appreciate it if you removed two pieces of rubbish from the beach each time you go.
No unattended open fires. Yip, we already said it, the houses are made of wood and we don't want to light up the sky.
There is a fish cleaning/gutting station near security. Please use this area so we can contain the smell and keep it clean so you don't get a fly in your drink.
For security reasons, all casual labour must be sourced via the Mar Azul Manager. No access card, no entry.
Guests must advise Security in advance of any visitors. If their name is not at Security, they will not be allowed access.
Abuse of the Security staff will absolutely not be tolerated. They are here to look after us, so please treat them with respect.
