Alex is the perfect host, his cooking is delicious (steak pie) was a wonderful way to end the day. His knowledge of the surrounding area is great, and he is very happy to sit with you and plan a day of sight seeing. The rooms are very comfortable.

This is such an awesome guest house to stay in. The owner, Alex, was so friendly and helpful. He told us what we can do and gave us so much information about Ladismith and the surrounding areas. Was really nice to sit down and talk to the owner and his friend. The breakfast was so lovely. The stay here was such a pleasure even though it was cold. This guest house is highly recommended.

Good sized room. Our host was very friendly and made us feel at home. He provided an overview of what was available in Ladismith regarding restaurants and pointed us to a wine tasting at Mymering Vineyard. Worth a visit.
