The climate of this grassland area, which has protected indigenous evergreen yellowwood forests, is pleasant all year round. Welcome relief in the warm months is brought by the summer rainfall, allowing for some of the province’s most spectacular gardens, while the mild winter days are brought to a close with crisp nights. Occasionally, winter supplies a fairytale romantic touch with falls of snow, providing a surreal environment in which to wake.
