W E L C O M E to Kingfisher’s Nest;Dear Guest!Our top priority is for you to enjoy your stay, therefore, contact us immediately if you have any issues of any kind, we will gladly assist!These are our few rules – please keep to it? Thank you !!!1. Check-in is from 14:00 or as discussed, and checkout by 10:00.2. Please feel free to enjoy the complimentary, coffee, tea, sugar, milk and rusks in the kitchen.3. NO SMOKING inside the house – and IF you smoke outside, please discard of your cigarette butts in the sand pots.4. Please feel free to use the fireplace in the lounge area – nothing like a good, warm fire to warm your body and heart! But NO FOOD is to be barbecued in this fireplace. There is a barbecue/braai area on the covered stoep/porch area for this.5. Unfortunately, NO pets allowed.6. Waste/rubbish removal is scheduled for Friday mornings. We will collect black bags from the big bin outside the kitchen, before or on Friday mornings. 7. The towels supplied are only for shower, bath and using INSIDE the house and strictly NOT for swimming or outside use. 8. We pride ourselves in using excellent quality 200 count percale linen on our beds and please ask for: NO EATING AND DRINKING IN THE BEDROOMS – stained linen will incur extra costs!!! 9. If you are on long stay – more than 4 nights – the house will be cleaned and towels will be changed after 4th day and linen as necessary, or as otherwise discussed – free of charge.10. Any additional cleaning can be organised @ R250 per day.11. Please wash dishes before you leave – if dishes are not cleaned an R250-00 cleaning fee will be charged. Remember there is a dishwasher! 12. If the oven is used for grilling, and not cleaned by yourself – note that an extra R250-00 will be charged for the cleaning of the oven. 13. In the case of you not having time to wash the dishes or cleaning out the oven, please leave a note and the amount cleaning fee on the countertop i.e. R250 or R500-00. 14. A fire extinguisher is in the main entrance for your safety in case of any fire. Please contact us without delay in the case of fire! 15. PLEASE RESTRAIN FROM LOUD NOISE AND PARTYING AFTER 22:30. We do not ask the guest to be completely quiet, just – tone all noise down after 22:30. We appreciate your understanding this!. 16. No excessive consumption of alcohol will be tolerated. 17. Please activate the alarm when you leave the house – this is to help ensure the safekeeping of your valuables. The red button activates the alarm. We can unfortunately not be kept responsible for any theft, break-ins or stolen goods of any guest. 18. Where no breakage deposit is paid, we trust in your honesty - kindly notify us of any breakage and please pay or replace item(s) before or on departure. 19. PLEASE TAKE THE UTMOST CARE ON ALL TILES, it may be SLIPPERY when wet. 20. OUR WATER IS PRECIOUS – SO PLEASE USE WATER WITH CARE 21. Please switch off all lights after use. 22. We will do our utmost to take care of your needs during “loadshedding”. We have a solar heater for the geyser but if there is no sun and same time loadshedding, the water may not be as hot as desired. We will then switch over to electricity. 23. We also make use of a battery system for lights in the main areas during loadshedding. Unfortunately, the TV, stove oven, microwave, dishwasher and clothes washer, etc., will not work. We do have a gas stovetop for cooking at all times. Use the stainless steel kettle on the gas stove for hot drinks. 24. NO GUESTS may be received without the consent of the owners.-WE TRUST THAT YOU WILL ENJOY YOUR STAY WITH US.
