Important Information

Please note that the following house rules must be strictly adhered to:
Departure Time – Unit be vacated by 10h00. (No Exceptions)
On departure hand keys to manager and ensure unit is locked.
The accommodation is strictly restricted to the number of persons as there are beds.
No parking on the grass is permitted.
No open fires allowed, please make use of the gas barbecues provided for cooking purposes only.
In order to establish whether your unit has the correct inventory, we ask that you complete the inventory form at your earliest convenience.
On departure the unit must be left in a reasonable state of cleanliness. Excessive cleaning left for our cleaning staff will be charged to the members account at the rate of R 500 per unit.
We regret that we cannot accept any responsibility/liability for the loss of any valuables. For security reason please pack valuables away when going out for the day.
If you need to utilize additional housekeeping please organize with the manager on duty beforehand.
Our constitution limits the number of person occupying a unit to 8 people for the Dhow Bay Guest House, unless prior arrangements have been made.
Please note: A refundable deposit of R 1 000.00 is due 24 hours before your arrival at the guest house. This deposit will be held for any damages caused to the house or contents directly by you or your guests. There will also be a separate Mosquito net deposit of R 500.00. This deposit is held for any damages caused to any of the mosquito nets.
Malaria is endemic to the entire country. Suitable precautions and the use of Prophylactics are recommended for visitors to these areas.
The check-out time is 10h00. Unfortunately no late departures can be accommodated.
There are no ATM facilities in close proximity to Dhow Bay Guest House or in the Bara area except for Barra Lodge, where there is a BCI ATM machine which you can draw cash only using VISA CARDS. It is recommended, if needed, that guests make use of the ATM facilities at the Tofo Garage (only VISA) or in the Inhambane town itself before checking into the guest house.
