The place was centrally located and the environment was quiet. The staff was extremely friendly and all facilities as well as the place itself was perfect.

We had a delightful stay. The cottage is a heritage cottage it stays true to the time. The lady who takes care of the place was very sweet, considerate and helpful. What we really loved about the place was the heritage factor, the furniture and the bedding, the electric blankets were much appreciated. We also enjoyed the private braai area, the cottage is very centrally located close to shops and restaurants, and we could walk to wherever we wanted to be. The cottage is quaint and cute, we had a really awesome stay, Thank you.

Me and my husband stayed at De Volkshuijs for one night only. We found it to be a cossy little place to overnight. We loved the historical atmosphere and the fact that our country's history is being preserved in such a novel, practical way. We have never been to Bredasdorp before but would like to go there again, especialy to se the green cornfields before harvest time. And we would like to stay in De volkshuijs again.

Despite being centrally located, the suburb is peaceful and quiet, and the cottage is neat and quaint
